GUWAHATI, June 3 – A free eye camp was organised by Naba Prayas, a leading NGO of Bijoynagar in association with Netrashree Opticals, Bijoynagar, at Satrapara LP School, Nahira recently. More than eighty patients availed the facility as a part of the community services programme of the NGO.
In this connection , a meeting was held where Arup Talukdar, President, Naba Prayas delivered the welcome speech. Mahendra Chandra Das, Sectretary, Naba Prayas earlier explained the objective of the meeting. Advocate Kishore Kumar Jain, Adviser, Naba Prayas inaugurated the camp and renowned eye surgeon Abdul Latif rendered services to the patients. The NGO, also distributed medicines among the patients free of cost.
