New Assamese magazine released

A correspondent JORHAT, Jan 3 – Retired Dibrugarh University teacher and noted litterateur Dr Kobin Phukan released the inaugural issue of Assamese monthly magazine Adhar at a function held at Radha Kanta Handique Bhavan here on Thursday. The general interest magazine is being published by Jeevan Sanchay Media Services. The function held on the occasion was chaired by the principal of Bahona College Dr Cheniram Dutta. The welcome address was delivered by the editor of the new magazine, Dr Balin Khargharia. Litterateur Dimbeswar Dayal Sharma and educationist Prafulla Rajguru were present as guests. source: assam tribune
