DIBRUGARH, Oct 15: In response to the call given by the All Assam Lawyer’s Association, the lawyers of the Dibrugarh Bar Association (DBA), observed two-hour sit-in strike today at the court premises in protest against the State Government’s utter failure in containing the unprecedented price hike of essential commodities.
Later, a delegation headed by the secretary of DBA, Satyabrata Sarma submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner and urged him to take urgent steps to this effect. THE SENTINEL
