Farmer shot dead by Bangla miscreants

AGARTALA, Nov 8 – Discontent is brewing along Tripura’s Khowai border following the killing of a Indian farmer by Bangladeshi miscreants on Saturday evening.

Dipu Telenga, a resident of Ashrambari under West Tripura district had gone to his fields outside the barbed wire fences when a two suspected militants called him over and shot him at almost point-blank range killing him on the spot.

PTI adds: The body of the farmer was today handed over to BSF following a flag meeting between BSF and BDR.
