JORHAT, July 8: The State Bank of India (SBI), administrative office, here celebrated ‘Bank Day’ by felicitating eminent personalities of Jorhat. Among those who were felicitated were poet and writer Pradip Kumar Baruah, singer, Prasenjit Lahon, drummer, Mahendra Chutia and former bank official GR Paul. In his welcome speech, Assistant General Manager, Benu Hazarika thanked the valued customers for extending support to all the banking activities and elaborated on the latest activities and programmes launched by the bank. The evening ended with a cultural programme.
