Crafts and textiles exhibition

GUWAHATI, Oct 15: A North East Crafts and Textiles exhibition has been organized by the North Eastern Handicrafts and Handlooms Development Corporation Ltd (NEHHDC) at the NEDFI HAAT in Ambari from October 20 to October 31. The exhibition aims at promoting the craftsperson and weavers of the North Eastern region, creating awareness in favour of handicrafts of the NE region and launching new and innovative products and designs for trail and promotion. The exhibition will benefit 25 artisans from all over the Northeast region. It will be inaugurated by noted artiste Indira PP Bora and solicit the presence of officials of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Government of India, Ministry of Textiles, dignitaries and artisans and weavers of the region.
