IMPHAL, Nov 8 – Two Manipuri films have been selected for the Indian Panorama to be screened in the forthcoming 40th International Film Festival of India (IFFI-2009).
The films – Ningthoucha Lancha’s Manipuri non-feature film Ilisa Amagi Mahao (Taste of Hilsa fish) and Haobam Pabankumar’s non-feature in English The First Leap – are among 18 non-feature films selected for screening at the Festival at Goa later this month.
The selections were made by the jury headed by Aribam Syam Sharma, well-known film-maker of India.
