Vigilance Awareness Week observed

DIBRUGARH, Nov 5: Along with the rest of the country, Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed at IOCL (AOD), Digboi and it’s other marketing locations, as per the guidance of the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC). The week is being observed at the IOCL (AOD), Digboi and was inaugurated with the Vigilance Pledge being taken by all the employees.

The messages of the Chairman CVC, and Chief Vigilance Officer of IOCL were read out by senior officers of the organizations.

The Executive Director, IOCL (AOD), S Ghosh released a hand book- Vigilance Vignettes, published by the Vigilance Department of AOD. During the week, many programmes have been lined up to spread vigilance awareness involving employees, along with students, contractors and vendors.

Swami Iswatmananda Maharaj of Ram Krishna Mission Deomali, today delivered a motivating talk in his own style on ethics, morals and human values. "Spirituality is nothing but a set of values which are eternal", he said.

All it needs for humans, Swamiji said, is to do our duty in the right manner– that will translate into ethics. Love for the institution where one works and love for our country are the greatest values, and if each individual performs his or her duty first and foremost, then all else will fall into place.
