AUDF President gears up election campaign

HAISINGIMARI, April 20: Alhaj Badruddin Ajmal AUDF President cum a candidate from the party (AUDF) for 4-Dhubri LS constituency to the ensuing Parliamentary election scheduled to be held in the second phase poll on April 23, geared up his election campaign attending various meetings namely in Hatsingimari, Fakirganj, Jaleswar, etc held yesterday in the LS constituency. In Hatsingimari and Jaleswar, about seven and eight thousand respectively and in Fakirganj about twelve thousand people were crowded in the meetings. In Hatsingimari, Ajmal in his commitment he said in the meeting that he would set up Engineering and Medical College in Dhubri, re-open Match factory in Dhubri, re-open Airport at Rupsri (Dhubri), start the work for ship port in Dhubri, undertake scheme for controlling erosion of Brahmaputra, solve the problem of so-called Bangladesh (Minority) by extending help on detecting actual (real) Bangladeshi, pressurize the government for construction of a bridge from Dhubri to Fulbari over Brahmaputra and so on, if he is elected.
