BJP seeks repoll in 3 booths

ITANAGAR, April 19 – The Opposition BJP today said that apart from the 13 polling stations that are going for repoll tomorrow, the party demands repolls should be conducted in three more polling booths under Itanagar Assembly constituency.

BJP MP candidate for Arunachal West seat, Kiren Rijiju told a news conference that his party urges conduct of fresh polls in three more polling stations namely, the D-Sector Primary School, PWD Division-III and Arunachal Pradesh State Transport (APST) Complex, where, he claimed, the Congress volunteers had rigged the polling booths in presence of magistrates, police and polling personnel.

Rijiju said that the BJP has already lodged written complaints with the Chief Election Commissioner.
