Mangaldai Lok Sabha Election, Election office for BPF opened

NALBARI, April 9: An election office for conducting free and fair Lok Sabha polls for Mangaldai Lok Sabha constituency where BPF candidate Dinanath Das is contesting was opened at Nalbari town on April 7 last.

A meeting was held on the occasion presided over by Asom Cabinet Minister Rihon Daimary and was addressed by Rajya Sabha BJP candidate Biswajit Daimary and Congress (I) candidate for Mangaldai Lok Sabha constituency Madhav Rajbongshi.

While addressing the meeting, Biswajit Daimary said that Madhav Rajbongshi had lost his image among grass-root workers of his party while Ramen Deka has failed to get an overwhelming support form BJP workers in Mangaldai.

DRDA and Asom panchayat minister Chandan Brahma said that Dinanath Das who submitted nomination from BPF party will definitely win the Mangaldai Lok Sabha seat this time.

He said that a good number political organizations would extend co-operation from their side to Dinanath Das. Barama constituency MLA Maneswar Brahma and Kokrajhar EM Imanul Muchahary among others also spoke on the occasion. Rihon Daimary also sought public co-operation to BPP candidate for the Mangaldai Lok Sabha constituency. THE SENTINEL
