Security tight as Rahul visits Sikkim


Gangtok, April 25: Elaborate security arrangements has been made ahead of the maiden visit of Rahul Gandhi to Sikkim on Saturday, police said yesterday.
The Congress National General Secretary will address a public meeting at Paljor Stadium at 10 am today.

The venue of the meeting and other places enroute to his visit has been thoroughly sensitised and adequate policemen deployed as a security measure, Superintendent of Police (East) M S Tuli told here.

The young Amethi MP will arrive here today morning by a helicopter before flying back to other destinations for canvassing in favour of Congress candidates.
