BJP to protest against

GUWAHATI, Oct 25: In retaliation to Government’s inaction over abnormal rise in the prices of essential commodities, the State BJP will stage dharnas on October 26 in all the districts of the State. The district committees of the BJP will submit memoranda through the Deputy Commissioners addressed to President Pratibha Patil, seeking her intervention on the matter.

In this connection, State BJP spokesperson Charan Deka accused the Gogoi led Government of accumulating funds through price rise. He also suspected that the traders may have increased the prices of goods in order to meet their liabilities of paying election fund to the Congress party. THE SENTINEL
