GUWAHATI, Oct 15: The State Government today constituted the Assam Linguistic Minorities Development Board with editor-in-chief of Bengali daily Dainik Juga-sankha, Bijoy Krishna Nath, as the chairman and nineteen other members. The Board will study the progress made by the District Rural Development Agency and other institutions for the welfare of the linguistic minorities and review the policies pursued by Government with respect to linguistic minorities, stated a press release.
