One of the most eagerly awaited election fights is in the 9-Chayang-Tajo Assembly constituency. Where Kameng Dolo aka KD, one of the senior-most legislators of the state has been fitted against Karya Bagang of All India Trinamool Congress (AITC). He has been the MLA for the last 35 years without any opposition or anyone questioning his authority. He has been ruling with an iron hand and a clenched fist.

And she is contesting as nominee of All India Trinamool Congress (AITC).
It is said that she is more popular than her husband (ex-President, DCC) also, so she is contesting on popular demand. Her five years stint as a Panchayat leader brought her into public limelight. However, all said and done, impartial observers of the constituency are of the opinion that this time there is a strong anti-incumbency wave against KD.
